NSA hold it's Annual Conference
The National Sheriff's Association held it's annual conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Gary Crowe, Fred Blum and Sue Collins were in attendance representing NAPPS. We are also voting members on the NSA's committee that discusses and handles the issues surrounding civil process.
Fred presented the draft documents created on the laws of all 50 states and who has the authority to receive and serve papers coming in from another states. Other topics of discussion were the current nationwide standing electronic service, electronic transmission of documents and the FSC accreditation that NAPPS now has in place.
